Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 mini Twix bars, unwrapped
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 12 cake pop or lollipop sticks
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy
Add the vanilla extract and salt to the butter mixture, and mix until well combined
Gradually add the flour to the mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms
Take a small portion of dough and flatten it in your palm
Place a mini Twix bar in the center and wrap the dough around it, forming a cookie dough ball
Repeat for all Twix bars
Insert a cake pop or lollipop stick into each cookie dough ball, making sure the stick goes about halfway through the ball
Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden around the edges
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil in 20-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and melted
Dip each cooled cookie into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off
Place the dipped cookies on parchment paper to set
Refrigerate the cookies for about 15-20 minutes to help the chocolate coating set
Once the chocolate is set, your Twix cookies on a stick are ready to enjoy!
