Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 pickle slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat
Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties
Season with salt and pepper
Grill burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached
During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty
While the burgers are grilling, toast the burger buns on the grill until lightly browned
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and ketchup to create the sauce
Assemble the burgers by spreading the sauce on the bottom half of each bun, then add a burger patty with cheese on top
Top the burger with diced onions, shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and pickle slices
