Turkey Cupcakes for Thanksgiving



You can make these Turkey Cupcakes as a fun and holiday treat for Thanksgiving. The cupcakes are chocolate and vanilla, and they are topped with chocolate frosting and cute turkey shapes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of chocolate cupcake mix
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup of vanilla frosting
  • 12 chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 12 mini peanut butter cups
  • 12 candy corn candies
  • 12 candy eyes
  • Red and orange decorating gel

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a cupcake tin with paper liners

In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cupcake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water

Mix until smooth

Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with the cupcake batter

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Let the cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack

Frost half of the cupcakes with chocolate frosting and the other half with vanilla frosting

Twist apart the chocolate sandwich cookies and use one half as the turkey's body and the other half as the turkey's feathers

Stick the body into the center of the frosted cupcakes and arrange the feathers behind it

Place a mini peanut butter cup on top of the body as the turkey's head

Attach a candy corn candy to the front of the peanut butter cup as the turkey's beak

Attach a candy eye above the beak on the peanut butter cup

Use red decorating gel to draw the turkey's wattle below the beak and orange decorating gel to create the turkey's feet below the body

Repeat the process for all cupcakes to create a batch of adorable turkey cupcakes for Thanksgiving! Serve and enjoy!
