Ingredients:
- 1 cup vital wheat gluten
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup breadcrumbs vegan
- Oil for frying such as vegetable or peanut
Instructions:
Vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, Creole seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl
Add water, soy sauce, and olive oil to a different bowl and mix them together
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and stir them together until everything is well mixed
For a few minutes, knead the dough until it gets stretchy
Cut the dough into small chunks and shape them into chicken-shaped popcorn
Make sure that all of the nuggets are covered in breadcrumbs
Put oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat
It will take about 4 to 5 minutes for each batch of nuggets to get golden brown and crispy
Place the cooked nuggets on a plate lined with paper towels to drain off any extra oil
Serve hot with the sauce of your choice
