Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C
Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat
Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until browned
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender
Return the chicken to the skillet with the broccoli
In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream and chicken broth
Pour this mixture over the chicken and broccoli in the skillet
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown
